Hardware Replacement
Covenant
does hardware replacement or upgrades both
onsite and offsite at our business location.
Simple hardware replacements (such as CD
drives, memory, add in cards, or power
supplies) can, in most cases, be done onsite.
More involved hardware replacements (such as
motherboards, processors, and hard drives) may
need to be done offsite. Because of the
proprietary design of some computers, sometimes
a hardware replacement that would be simple
under most circumstances must be done offsite.
If the technician feels that the work needs to
be done offsite at our location he will inform
you. At that point you (the customer) can
decide whether you want the computer to leave
the premises. If you choose not to allow us to
work on your computer offsite you will be
responsible for full payment for work done up
to that point or the minimum if no work has
been done.
Covenant orders parts online to decrease customer
costs. If a part is not in stock the customer
can choose to wait for the part to ship
(usually 3 to 5 business days) or opt for us
to pick up the part locally at a higher price.
